Student Angler Organization forges partnership with Bagley Baits out of Bemidji, MN

The Student Angler Organization is very proud to announce a new partnership with Bagley baits out of Bemidji, MN. This partnership will serve mutually beneficial for both parties as we move towards open water fishing and tournament season.

The Student Angler Organization (SAO) is a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to increasing fishing opportunities and environmental awareness for students, youth and schools through competition, scholarships, education, and mentoring opportunities, and ultimately, creating an outdoor passion for life for the students and their families.

Bagley offers traditional, premium super light balsa and hand-selected hardwood baits with the craftsmanship, quality and artistry of classic handcrafted lures. Gregg Wollner, the CEO of Bagley Baits, had this to say; “These young people are the future of our sport and right now they are leading the growth in the fishing industry.  I am extremely happy, and proud, to be associated with the Student Angler Organization.”

The partnership was a perfect match, being that many Student Angler Organization participants are avid fans of Bagley Baits. “Being able to work with a MN based company that has positively impacted so many anglers is a privilege”, said Jimmy Bell, President of the Student Angler Organization. “Many of our anglers Marshal for the Classic Bass Champions Tour events, and have seen first hand the success the anglers have had with the Bagley Crank Baits.” he continues.

The Student Angler Organization has filed for non-profit 501(c)(3) status and your financial support may be tax-deductible. The largest portion of Student Angler Organization proceeds is awarded to student anglers in the form of college scholarships. Financial support to this organization is greatly appreciated by the hundreds of Student Anglers and their families waiting for the opportunity. If you or your organization is interested in helping the SAO to continue to grow the number of kids, schools, and states participating in youth fishing, please contact or donate to them at
